The four tiers of cars, from tier 4 (normal) to tier 1 (super-exotics) are just rough guidelines. On the other hand, the flexibility may give an extra chance to get out of a particular situation.Īny cars that fits neither of the catgories above would be considered a "flexible" car. And in fact, these may be more difficult to drive as you have to know when it will understeer and when it will oversteer. You'll be doing all the "Hollywood" style cornering where the tail swings out wildly.Īny of the muscle cars, Mustang GT, Cobra KR500 would be brute carsįlexible cars are kinda inbetween, and some way, it can do neither well. To get these around corners you have to master the speedbreaker and/or handbrake to drift around corners and hit the gas the moment you got the car aligned. They excel in straight-line speed, but can't turn worth a ****. Lotus Elise / Audi TT / Porsche 911 would be nimble cars.īrute cars have high acceleration, but relatively lousy handling. It's almost impossible to spin one out unless you're trying to do a burnout donut, and if you hit the wall at a corner you're probably doing too fast and/or not using speedbreaker. They basically drive as if they are on rails, and they usually understeer instead of oversteer if you just took a corner too fast. Nimble cars have high handling, but relatively speaking lower acceleration and top speed. I will soon get 400,000 for the pagani, but i can't seem to get enough style points.Cars generally comes in three types: nimble, brute, flexible To get loads of money, i repeatedly do the last career mode race, which you have to take out the main guy who has the bmw. I came on here to see if there wee any cheats to get the Pagani, but i can't find any. I STILL HAVEN'T UPGRADED ANY CAR AT ALL WHATSSOEVER! I went round in the porsche, and have now ugraded it to the max. I can't remember how much, but i then had enough for a porsche 911 gt2. Allthough i lost 5,000, i still got a lot of money from the gallardo. did a couple of drift races, and sold it for 5,000. Completed career mode with this car, and sold it immediately, and bought the nissan 250sx for 10,000. I then sold the mazda and bought the dodge viper which is the best possible car to get at that point, then did a few more races and sold the dodge viper and managed to by a lambourgini gallardo. I found that i completed all of the races up to the end of the second city with the mazda speed which i bought right at the start of the game, with NO upgrades. If anyone has tips for Modern Combat, I would appreciate it as I can't even get a little into it, the controls I really struggle with it seems.

I did most of it with the Brookstone aka Blurex, clipcase on with it folded over.Īny questions, let me know and I will try to help. Now I'm generating cash to buy the other cars to try them out in different races.
#Nfs undercover cars upgrade#
every car I bought I would upgrade everything when possible (cash) to help win the races Steer into the drift to stop it and away from it to get more drift angle.Ģ40SX, Firebird, Mazdaspeed3, Solstice GXP, Lancer EVO, Viper, 67 Mustang (MISTAKE), Viper (again), Zonda F My drifting technique is to quickly turn the wheel to start the drift and then use the "wheel" to keep the drift from going too far where you will spin out. Style points don't pay alot but every little bet helps so try drifting when possible to get them. To build up cash, keep repeating races that you can win - even if they only payout 2-3 thousand each win and use that money to upgrade the car. You get thousands of style points when you lead a lap. I built up lots of style points (over 20,000 per race with the Viper) in the Port Crescent - The Main Event - Lap KO race 2.

(I tested this on the Port Crescent - Road Rage event where I got my winning time down to under 11 seconds with the Zonda but I did see a slight improvement when I added all the visuals to the car (add the bodykit, spoiler, slam it.) - and they only cost ~5 grand anyways)ĭon't "upgrade" the Viper to get the more expensive 67 Mustang, it is waay slower!! I lost a day by getting that car. to me it appears that even buying the "visuals" added a little of performance. If you are looking for a couple tips on just plowing through the game, here is what I have learned (these are just my observations) - again these are if you only want to get one car to win the game. You may have a better tip so please add it. I've searched and not seen really any NFS tips for the PB. Spent time everyday at it and finally figured out the drifting technique and beat all the levels including the bonus Drifting ones.
